Viet Thanh Nguyen teaches at the University of Southern California. He is the author of The Sympathizer, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2016; The Refugees, a short story collection; Nothing Ever Dies: Vietnam and the Memory of War, a finalist for the National Book Award and National Book Critics Circle Award. His most recent book is an edited collection; The Displaced: Refugee Writers on Refugee Lives.
