Xu Xi
Xu Xi is the author of nine books of fiction and essays, including Access: Thirteen Tales (Signal 8 Press, 2011); the novel Habit of a Foreign Sky (Haven Books, 2010), a finalist for the inaugural Man Asian Literary Prize; and an essay collection, Evanescent Isles (Hong Kong University Press, 2008). From 2009 to 2012, she served as MFA Faculty Chair at Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is Writer-in-Residence at the Department of English, City University of Hong Kong, where she established and directs an international, low-residency MFA in creative writing, the first to focus specifically on Asia.
