JP Gritton
JP Gritton is the author of Wyoming (Tin House Books, 2019). His essays and short fiction have appeared in Black Warrior Review, Missouri Review, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. “Tom Sawyer” is the last in a four-part novella-in-shorts. Its first installment (“Wonder Boy”) won Literary Matter’s 2019 Meringoff Writing Award for fiction; the second (“Referral”) and third (“Wonder Boy, Revisited”) appear in the 2024 and 2025 issues of Gavialidae.
